Hi [FIRSTNAME],
Hello and welcome to our update Newsletter!
Autumn has arrived quickly this year, and I certainly have a feeling that winter is doing the same. It’s been a very busy year so far for Business Art, with lots of new and exciting projects and new contacts too.
That’s why I’m starting this newsletter with a quick Q&A, for those who perhaps don’t know the business so well. Hope you find it useful!
I hope the year ends on a high note for you and look forward to working with you soon!
Kind regards
Sarah Dallas
BUSINESS ART Q&A
Q
What exactly does Business Art do?
A
We provide artwork for commercial interiors - a full service for organisations which want quality artwork in tune with their corporate messages and their interior design. We source or commission artwork to meet the needs of each client, then manage the entire process through to installation. As the only specialist art consultancy in Scotland, we also manage existing collections for clients, including valuations, insurance and disposal.
Q
What are the advantages of working with Business Art?
A
Not everyone knows about art, or wants to spend the time learning! We are experienced in finding the right works of art to meet the needs of each specific project, working to each client’s brief, budget and timescale. In short, we take the uncertainty out of adding art to your commercial interior!
Q
Which brings us on to the question of cost?
A
There is a cost…as a consultancy we charge for the time we spend on a project, plus any additional costs such as insurance and delivery charges, and of course the cost of the artwork. We provide comprehensive quotes in advance so there are no surprises. We believe we provide value for money: our knowledge ensures we can quickly identify and source the art you need and manage everything through to installation. It’s fast, efficient and professional.
QUARTERMILE REPORT
Were you able to visit the Quartermile Gallery during the Edinburgh Festival? We were delighted with the response – more than 500 visitors over the period we were open - and in fact extended the Gallery’s opening for a further week to meet demand. Many works were sold and visitors were in awe at Gladedale’s fabulous triplex apartment!
NEW WHEELS
Look out for the new wheels when you’re out and about. Sarah’s new car is unmistakably a Business Art car…and it’s attracted a lot of attention so far! It follows in the great tradition of BMW Art Cars – which have featured work by David Hockney, Jenny Holzer, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, Frank Stella and Andy Warhol – and we hope will make just as much impact. ASSOCIATION OF SCOTTISH BUSINESSWOMEN AWARDS
Sarah with her Mum and Dad at the Awards reception
It was great to be nominated for the ASB awards in September, but unfortunately we were unsuccessful. However, it was a fantastic experience and the awards dinner was great fun.
