| Women in Property make Quartermile Gallery Visit |

Members and guests of Women in Property’s central Scotland branch are planning a visit to one of the most striking new art venues in Edinburgh, the Quartermile Gallery in the heart of Gladedale Capital’s ambitious Edinburgh development. The impressive triplex penthouse apartment at Quartermile has recently undergone some changes and to celebrate its re-launch Gladedale Capital has teamed up with specialist consultancy Business Art to stage an exhibition of artwork from some of Sarah Dallas, director of Business Art and committee member of Women in Property, has overseen the establishment of the Gallery. “The apartment is designed by Foster + Partners and provides a truly striking setting for the gallery,” said Sarah. “The brief was to create a vibrant and contemporary gallery space in the triplex apartment and to make it relevant to the “We are a young business so this exhilarating project has been tremendous for us: it has given us the opportunity to showcase our abilities in identifying the right artists and establishing the gallery in this great space. It is great to have Women in Property include a visit to the Gallery in their events programme and we’re sure they will be impressed by both the art and the architecture.” Business Art is a young enterprise established in 2008, which works with corporate clients around the Lorraine Paterson, sales and marketing director for Gladedale Capital, said: “We look forward to welcoming Women in Property to the exhibition, and we are very pleased to lend our support to these very talented young artists. The exhibition will add a further dimension to the triplex penthouse, which offers such a fantastic space in which to showcase this exciting artwork.” The Women in Property visit takes place on Thursday 6 August. The gallery features the work of Ainslie Roddick, David Cass, Tom Fuggle, Emma Waine and Lucyanna McLaughlin and includes fine art, photography and sculpture.
